Explore the ancient art of Tai Chi with an intro group adult class. Promote healthy, sustainable living while supporting a great cause, Southeastern Guide Dogs. Southeastern Guide Dogs speakers and Ambassador dogs will be attending to promote their charity and this event.
There will be food, fun, and with a donation of $10.00 or more, you'll get a $10.00 gift certificate
to explore the sustainable art & furniture at Decor Direct Wholesale Warehouse!
Our local Tai Chi instructor, Sifu Brian Williams, will provide an adult introductory group class on
Tai Chi. Sifu Williams is a 13th generation successor of Chen Style Taijiquan, Wing Chun, and
Animal Gongfu. Sifu Williams has been teaching for over 20 years, is the chief instructor at
Tradtional Chinese Martial Arts Center in Sarasota, and is the president of the American Chen

No experience or equipment required. Just wear loose, comfortable clothing and flat
shoes.
This is a Fundraiser: Southeastern Guide Dogs will be benefiting from this event. They
will receive 100% of all donations. Decor Direct Wholesale Warehouse supports
Southeastern Guide Dogs in their mission to create and nurture a partnership between a
visually impaired individual and a guide dog, facilitating life’s journey with mobility,
independence and dignity. Their vision to be the best service dog school in the world in

About Tai Chi: This ancient art was originally developed for self-defense, but has evolved
into a graceful form of exercise that's now used for stress reduction and a variety of other
health conditions. The Mayo Clinic and Harvard Medical School recommend the practice
of Tai Chi for health. Tai chi is low impact, it's safe for all ages and fitness levels. Often
described as meditation in motion, Tai Chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing
movements. (Must be 18 or older to attend).
The Tai Chi Program at DDWW is a monthly event from October to April to promote healthy, sustainable living.
