DIRECT ANNOUNCES DONATION TO CHILDHOOD ENRICHMENT CENTER

Decor
Direct, Sarasota's Young Business of the Year, has announced its March
2004 charitable donation to the Childhood Enrichment Center, Benefit for
Autism.
Sarasota,
Florida – Decor Direct, an
importer of handcrafted furniture and accessories headquartered in
Sarasota, Florida, is pleased to announce its charitable gift donated to
the Childhood Enrichment Center in March 2004.
Decor
Direct donated a handpainted oil painting in a beautiful gilded wood frame
valued at $878 for the Childhood Enrichment Center’s Benefit for Autism.
The event was held on the evening of March 6, 2004 at the Mote
Marine Laboratory in Sarasota.
The
evening’s events included a live and silent auction to bid on the
donated items, as well as music and food from some of the area’s finest
restaurants. When the gavel dropped, the winning bid for the oil painting
raised over $500 for children with autism and their families.
In
addition to being a winner of the 2002 Young Business of the Year Award by
Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, Decor Direct has also received other
accolades, including the “Best of Show” award from the local American
Society of Interior Designers.
