Decor Direct strives to contribute to the dynamism and growth of the local Sarasota/Bradenton, Florida community. 

Some of the charitable organizations we support include:

• Dogs for Dogs, Frankfurters for Felines: Decor Direct created this event to raise thousands of dollars for local animal shelters in honor of Petey Dogg, CCO, our Chief Canine Office and mascot adopted from Humane Society of Sarasota County (see Petey's Bio on right)
• Circus Sarasota, Decor Direct has contributed to this local educational and charitable organization for over a decade, including donating thousands of dollars of original art & furniture to Circus Sarasota.
• Habitat for Humanity Decor Direct volunteered time and resources for the low-income housing project at "Jordan's Crossing" in Sarasota.
• Heifer International, Decor Direct donated products for fundraising by this international aid group that gives dairy cows to villages in Africa.
• Humane Society of Sarasota County, the local shelter of animals has been the recipient of multiple donations by Decor Direct.
• Team in Training Decor Direct Exec Celeste Gruenstein completed the Bank of America Gasparilla Distance Classic 13.2 mile Half Marathon in 2007 as a Team Member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training (TNT).  Celeste ran in memory of her sister Diane, and in the process raised money to support finding a cure for Leukemia.
• Manasota Legal Aid providing free legal assistance to low-income families who otherwise would not have representation
• Sarasota Soap Box Derby, an event for kids which teaches hard work and sportsmanship.
• Southeastern Guide Dogs, which trains companion dogs for visually impaired persons.
• The First Tee, a non-profit dedicated to providing young people an opportunity to develop, through golf and character education, life-enhancing values.
• Newtown Boys & Girls Club Decor Direct has donated gifts for children attending the club.
• Childhood Enrichment Center, Inc. This non-profit seeks to raise awareness of autism
• Senior Friendship Centers, Inc., a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping older adults live with dignity and independence.
• Sarasota Arts Council - membership in arts organizations such as this non-profit

2012, Decor Direct Executive Celeste Gruenstein served as a judge for the 22nd Annual Frank G. Berlin Sr. Small Business Awards in the Non-Profit Category.

Decor Direct Executive Celeste Gruenstein graduated from the Leadership Sarasota Program (Class of 2009), the 9 month long in depth executive development program that was established to inspire and involve community leaders.

 June 2002 - Frank G. Berin, Sr. Young Business of the Year Award Winner, Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce.

August 2, 2002, Decor Direct Exec Anthony J. Minicucci named to Prestigious "40-Under-40" List by Gulf Coast Business Review.

2001, Frank G. Berlin, Sr. Young Business of the Year Award Finalist, Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce.

2000, Sponsor Sarasota Millennium Celebration. We sponsored the downtown festivities of free music and a community-wide party to mark the new millennium.
